Sometimes FATE goes hand in hand with Destiny, Sometimes Dreams of One Pass Through Another, In such Case, Dreams do come true, with This world where LIFE and DEATH are very much apart of who we are, as Lives are lived and Death comes, Some DREAMS of the DEAD pass through the Lives of the LIVING. In which case the Deceased live their Dreams through the Living, As such Case with Myself and My Father, “DAN”. He Grew up loving the CLEVELAND BROWNS, and their GUIDING LIGHT, PAUL BROWN. My Dad would tell me stories of how the Browns would win GAMES and win CHAMPIONSHIPS, and How he remained LOYAL to them. But soon,  Cleveland would turn and cast out its LIGHT. Determined not to give up Brown Traveled Down I-71 To CINCINNATI to found a NEW FRANCHISE. Well to make a long story short, for OVER 40 years. The BENGALS have had their share of UPS AND DOWNS including two SUPER BOWL  appearances and few DIVISIONAL TITLES as well. My Dad and I have Shared in these years a COMMON BOND and had the SAME INTEREST at heart. WE both LOVED the BENGALS. We have been to several Training Camps Met MANY PLAYERS both CURRENT AND FORMER who have given us some GREAT GAMES,and some of the GREATIST MOMENTS in our lives, Yes a FATHER AND SON enjoying a SIMPLE FOOTBALL GAME connected us  with each other. We could always talk about FOOTBALL. WE loved being around it and loved our TEAM, Through the GAME i learned some pretty good LIFE LESSONS, The Bengals were Heroes to Me. Like My DAD. Then One fateful night I got a Phone Call that while On a FISHING TRIP which was another of My Father’s Love’s, Tragedy had dealt a Terrible blow, and My Dad had DIED. A freak accident had taken his life. After a couple of years I’ve learned to cope even come to terms with it. the Pain is still there But i do not Question, There is a Reason and Rime for everything. I know this. I continued to carry on the FAMILY BUSINESS, which is another Passion He and I Shared. but as Time went on I could not go on. the Pain of Him not being there was too great and every time i would SIT in the Chair where He Sat and Conducted Business all those YEARS, i would look and see his Picture sitting there my eyes would feel up with Tears. there is a HOLE in my Heart without “POP” im LOST. So i had to Leave so i could Find my way. I Met My Partner Rodney, and things just seemed RIGHT. We decided to Start up a Card Shop and things have been Great ever Since.im Meeting new people and some familiar faces along the way, ICKEY WOODS,  a BENGALS GREAT, Became a BUSINESS Associate with My Partner and I, I at the Time was Excited at the Chance to Work with a Man whom was on a Team i Grew up watching and that My Dad and I Enjoyed. soon More Names Popped out of nowhere, from both the Wrestling World which i happen to love and Pro Football which Dad and I loved. PETE JOHNSON,ML HARRIS,JAMES COTTON,BRIAN ROLLE, ROSS HOMAN and JASON SHIRLEY, are just a few of the names we have worked with. DEMOLITION AX and SMASH,BRUTUS BEEFCAKE,SHARKBOY,SUNNY,GREG “THE HAMMER” VALENTINE, MARTY JANNETTY,HONKY TONK MAN, and DAN “THE BEAST” SEVERN are a few of the PRO WRESTLING CELEBS we have worked with as well. Let’s just say im living a dream. MY DREAM. but is it MY DREAM? knowing my Dad’s Hope’s and Dreams I believe that he is Living HIS through ME. i can Feel his Presence and sometimes if i concentrate i can hear him say “We are living this together Son i will always be here for you” ” Love ya Son” and i would say “Pop lets watch this FIELD OF DREAMS play out together.

Do you know who said : ” Train…say your prayers…take vitamins and believe in yourself ” ?

[TERRY GENE BOLLEA], but, you’ll recognize this 6 foot 4 inch, 302 pound person as HULK HOGAN, or….

 The Hulkster,
Hulk,
Hollywood Hogan,
Hulkamania,
Thunder Lips,
Terry Boulder,
Sterling Golden,
Mr. America…
plus whatever else the fans in the arenas around the WORLD have SCREAMED.

Terry played little league baseball and a LOT of BASS guitar. I can only guess that yelling “hey, batter batter” and playing to audiences with the volume level at ELEVEN may have contributed to the Hulk’s aural abilities in the ring. Most of all Terry Hogan BUILT himself into the Man we “know” him as today. Florida bred, this mountain of tanned muscles is a hero to many a youngman.

BARTHOLOMEW EDWARD SCOTT] grew up in Detroit, MI and heard a lot of what Hulk espoused, putting it into practice in high school and into college. Many can’t understand the brashness of the words that many who accomplish more than “THEIR LOT” are supposed to…(‘ More than one hundred schools sent out recruiting letters; however, low SAT scores made colleges shy away. Scott later improved his test scores to ensure eligibility.During July workouts for a Michigan high school all-star game, Scott was impressive on the field thus, catching the interest of coach Bryan Masi. Masi contacted Dan Enos, a friend and an assistant coach at Southern Illinois. As a result of the conversation, SIU offerd Scott a scholarship.

Scott continues to return to Southeastern nearly every year to speak with students, challenging them to aspire for more in life. Additionally, Scott provided the school with new uniforms and equipment in 2005 while upgrading the weight room in 2007. Scott also paid to have a new set of bleachers installed at the school after vandals stole the school’s former bleachers. In honor of Scott’s accomplishments on the field and off of it, Southeastern retired his jersey in 2008.’) (“wiki”)

It isn’t often that someone gets to be a part of an event where one may participate WITH their [HERO], especially when you can “barely” tell them apart.

This should be  fun, for Hulk, for Bart and, for ALL watching.  Bart came to TNA! NFL vs TNA wow that’s cool, it looks like with Lock Out on the horizon, Bart can “Wrassle” with the Hulk and the rest of the BOYS. kind of Cool , Because come march 12-13 Big Buddhas is Putting on a CARD SHOW and Convention at the Vet’s Memorial  in Columbus Ohio,Stars from both the Wrestling and Football Worlds will be there. it would be interesting to get their Take on this situation. Please join us At the Vet’s Memorial as we meet and talk with these Greats to get an insight as to what they do.

This is a story about a couple of sports ‘Heroes’.

[STANLEY FRANK MUSIAL]

[WILLIAM FELTON RUSSELL]

I’ve said heroes, and I mean it in the most SINCERE manner that I can express.

Stan “The Man” Musial was the most prolific Baseball player of his time. And that was accomplished even as he’d served in the U.S. Navy during World War 2, (Cardinals@ 1941-1963). As a civilian he served as Vice President of the St. Louis CARDINAL Baseball team serving his country also that year by being this nation’s PHYSICAL FITNESS ADVISOR for President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1967. If you couldn’t guess, Stan is also an inductee of the Major League Baseball Hall of FAME.

“Bill” Russell IS the premier DNA donor to the model of what the title CENTER means to the definition of WHAT a position player SHOULD BE in the game of Basketball. Not only did he “stand his ground” at the post but, he did outside the walls of Boston Gardens. On a road trip the black players were denied a service… after “some” was rendered HE REFUSED to play THAT night’s game. He, too, is in the Hall of FAME, but in the halls of the National Basketball Association’s.

These MEN have served their SPORT and WORLD during their lifetimes. And on Tuesday, February Fifteenth, Two-Thousand Twelve, BOTH, were seated in the WHITE HOUSE along with 15present, plus 1 postumous, [RECIPIENTS].

Congratulations to ALL for their GIFTS to the world. And for receiving the [PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL of FREEDOM].

As a white man living in middle America, in the Month of February, (which happens to be Black History Month), I was deeply moved when along with my Editor,( who just so happens to be black himself.), came across this story about a Wake Forrest Baseball Coach who gave a Kidney up to save one of his Players. I was truly moved by the fact that a Coach selflessly gave of himself to a fallen comrade.  The two gentlemen I’m talking about are Coach/ Player, [ TOM WALTER/ KEVIN JORDAN]. Here is where the REAL LESSON in LIFE  lives… where  WE are all people  and WE all are just that.
